Back of the House: News Update

Back of the House, my new book about chefs and restaurants, which will be out with Berkley/Penguin on February 5th, 2013, hit #7 in Professional Cooking on Kindle Amazon this morning.  Wow.  And it’s not even out yet, this is pre-order.

Meanwhile, in an unrelated development, Second Avenue Deli was its usual splendid self yesterday.  And a place I’ve not been to before, but will find me back again, is Minetta Tavern–good food, simply done, in a lively setting.

Oh, and then Woolf in-between: Brutal, brilliant, deeply memorable.
