Honestly, “hits stands,” what an anachronism, but there it is: Back of the House is out, pub date right now, and so far it’s #1 in national Kindle and #24 in national book sales in professional cooking.
Yesterday there was a fascinating, great interview with Brazier.com that is up later this week and an in-depth interview later that same day with New England Psychologist that will run on March 1st.
Last night the book’s first event took place @ Harvard Bookstore and a packed room, SRO, of about 45 people showed up to hear a reading of sections from the book. Great, lively, engaged, opinionated, fun audience with more questions than time. Lots of signings.
Today @ 5 the Australian Broadcast Company–with host Michael Mackenzie–calls for an interview about the book.
Tomorrow the Boston Herald is running a piece called, “Ten Things I learned about Craigie on Main from reading Back of the House.”
Meanwhile: I’m off to Pembroke Hospital this morning to evaluate three patients on locked, psychiatric units. Tale about back of the house!
