Taped a radio segment yesterday @ “America’s Test Kitchen” with the wonderful, bow-tied, Maserati driving Chris Kimball, whose wit and alacrity had vigor. The piece was about, “Back of the House,” naturally enough, and it airs, I’m told, in four to six weeks.
Later still, that night, it was a quick appetizer of toasted walnut bread topped with pan seared morels and melted Gruyere. Followed by steamed chicken cut up into bite sized pieces and fried for about nine minutes each side before draining and oven roasting briefly.
Talk about test kitchens!
