It’s that time of year, at least around here, when the skin tingles on walks with the dogs. The trees appear different each day, and I wonder if the fir has been yanked up and replaced by some birch. Meanwhile, resiliency is evident: All the shoots making their way up towards light.
As if that wasn’t enough, chefs are posting the first ramps of the season, and it’s the easiest time for cooking at home. We had ramps here a couple of weeks ago, and blond morels, too, and another order will be placed for both shortly.
And as if that wasn’t enough, March madness has yielded to the Playoffs. I can’t say that I’m terribly optimistic about the Cs facing Carmelo, but I do look forward to good games played with finesse and focus.
